I've been looking for one of these in early die state as the rpm has a truly impressive look but this later die state ticks it off the list .

I dunno Stoneman. While that is an impressive coin, I think you are still close to stage-C there. The early die stage examples show a lot of detail, right down to the texture of the secondary mint mark.
