Hey guys,

Was going through one of my pennies. This one has that woody look to it and minor delimitation? I am not familiar with this type of error on this series.
Im at MS62 with scattered luster all over the field. Let me know what you guys think.

I'll say MS-63 or even 64BN, a "woody". Most attractive.

I really like the toning on this one it makes the detail pop out.
To me the lamination is a very welcome extra.

Cheers, Bill

I concur with the comments made so far. The poorly alloyed flan coupled with the delamination is icing on the cake.

I'm in at EF-45 with the possibility of AU-50. There's obvious minor wear and "scattered lustre" troubles me. UNC coins should have unbroken lustre even if subdued due to storage or toning.

Nice woody, high au , though as a key for the series the flaw doesn't help, or on any old unc coin imo I would be a buyer at retail price. Distracts from a all round nice coin
