Good show as always. I was not at all surprised to see dealers not moving inventory like they would like to. I met with one dealer who I have never seen before. We talked for about 30 minutes. I actually purchased a Liberty Head Nickel from him. This was 4:30 PM. The show opened at 9:30 AM. He said I was coin purchase #2 from him all day. Other dealers expressed the same sentiments. I found a few pretty good deals in the Large Cent categories. All in all, a fun show as always. All major TPG's were there but even they looked like biz was slow with not too many folks submitting. It's always nice to be amongst coins and coin folks!

I spent Saturday at the show (local coin club drove a van down to LA so we could go on the club's dime) I spent most of my day in the world coin area and saw lots of coins trade hands, with some of the dealers so busy I had to come back later to get in close to look at their coins. I picked up couple of beautiful new additions for my collection of 8 reales. Saw many incredible coins including one dealers display case featuring an AU 1794 dollar and an MS65 ultra high relief 1907 $20 St Gaudens gold piece. Very enjoyable show.

1794 Dollar. Nice. I was only there Friday. Saturday is always the best day to go. Could not be there Saturday, glad you had fun!

Tom's early copper is incredible. Some of his coins are so pristine, they almost look fake! He had a 1794 Liberty Cap LC that was insane! All I can think of is Dansco! My guess is he does not care for TPG's!
