I've been on a book buying binge lately, still reading From Mine to Mint by Roger Burdette bought two weeks ago and just picked up U.S. Civil War Store Cards, second edition by Melvin Fuld. For $7.50 how could I go wrong? It's the perfect companion to his Civil War Tokens that I have.

Thoughts on the subject?

I'm a big fan of buying reference books. Of course now that you have purchased Fuld's book on Store Cards, you gotta pick some up and post them to CCF, right?

I find as much enjoyment in a good reference book as I do the coins, currency, exonumia I purchase. Many years I add more to the library than to the collection. A solid library will never let you down

Very true!

Re: CWTs - The new A Guide Book of CWTs published by Whitman is a rather good current reference. A 3rd edition of the popular volume was published late last year.
