Not sure what to make of this strangely toned, burnished little mess of a coin. Looks like some clear MD to me, but those leaves look like a legit DD. Never had a Canadian error coin. Here's hoping I lose my maple leaf virginity on this one.

if you are referring to the leaf on the left that leaf is suppose to be there... There is 2 leaves on the reverse of the 1 cent Canadian penny.

I see where you are looking, your pictures are extremely blurry but its not DD or MD it looks more like a plating bubble, spendable.

I retract my reply regarding the plating bubble, like SPP-Ottawa said plating didn't commence until 1997 I got my dates mixed up! My apologies, but clearer pictures will provide better opinions.
