I was going through a coin stash and found this 1960 D LMC. It is in extremely good condition. Is this one that may be worth having graded? I tried a couple of different light settings, but even the high points have the original luster.
If this coin was in a coin store it would probably sell at 25 cents. The cost of slabbing would exceed this value several times over. Here is a MS-64 that was slabbed by PCGS: https://www.PCGS.com/cert/36027410 The price it shows for that coin. $5. They probably spent close to $50 to have it slabbed. Don't seem worth it to me.
