@rh1, first welcome to CCF. Second, at least most of those divots are damage (for example all of them on Geroge's head). A valid question is whether the one near to the rim might be a strike through, such as from gritty grease being on the die when this coin was struck.

Will try better next time I have more pics there is also some on the other side. They do push throw to the other side. I am new at this I started to collect when I found a 1940 nickel in the parking lot.
Did you see the hit on the rim? Note the metal is pushing over the edge of the rim. So it is PSD (Post-Strike-Damage) Not a keeper. The metal extends over the edge of where the collar would contain it. Just a hit, but in a bad way.
