The weight of the coin is what caught my attention because it was 2.83.So I took a closer look at it. It's rough looking but I haven't heard anything about a coin like that.

This one looks like it was dipped in acid. The weight should be less than normal. 3.11 grams is normal.

That's a pool penny...most likely sucked into the pool pump basket, sat there until basket was cleaned,removed and then spent
