If it is within mint specs, then this is just environmental exposure. For me is interesting to watch how different coins with different alloy interact with moisture and chemicals after sitting in the water for awhile( we have a hard water in our town) the worst reaction I've seen has been on the Zincolns, the Zinc literally starts to explode from inside out .
