Tacoh New Member United States 1 Posts	Posted 11/19/2019 3:29 pm Hi all, I'm new to the forum but also new to coins. I've been reading up on coin errors but this one still puzzles me. I found it a few weeks ago under the carpet under my passenger seat in my car. It's a teddy roosevelt America the Beautiful Quarter but the writing around the halo/ring of the tails side is not there. Nor are any raised features of Washington's face on the other side. Puzzled but curious. What would cause this? Also I should note that some brown coloration is present along the bottom of the tails side. Thanks! Report this Post to the Staff

USSID18 Pillar of the Community 5464 Posts	Posted 11/19/2019 3:32 pm Your coin is damaged. It's called PMD. It's not a mint error. It happened after it left the mint. Sorry.
