Never seen anything like this, mind you I haven't been doing this very long, found at work on the change jar today. Is some type of blank planchet are I'd like to know the terminology thank you

@YB, sorry but this is nothing more than extreme wear. The copper plating is worn down in several areas to the point where the underlying zinc core is exposed.
