Well, Bob, I expected this to be far more of a challenge. Thank you so much!

There's absolutely no chance that it is gold? It did register on my Sigma, but those can always be incorrect.

Well, it's not my collecting area, but all examples I have seen are bronze. And, if I "read" the photo correctly, yours does appear to at least have a base metal core and even some verdigris.
