I see Jupiter, and not Venus, but I also see the inverted T then VI so I am just not sure which coin this is exactly.

S C. Rv / Victory in galloping Triga. Right, over the
horses T (inverted) VI. Bab. (Naevia) 6; Cr. 382 / 1b; RBW 1410.

it is CR 382/1a , not 1B
There are only two denarii with a triga on the reverse , this one and CR 299 .
On the obverse is Venus represented , but here it looks to be a man and it resembles the obverse of CR 364 , a coin of Quintus Antonius Balbus with a quadriga on the reverse .
There is only 3 years difference beteen the 2 coins (82 an d 79 BC) , so maybe there has been a mistake in the mint ald an ancient stamp of Q Antonius has been used for C.Naevius ?

Albert;

Thanks so much! I spent a lot of time, like an hour, looking at both coins for the ID and it does make sense now reading your response. Thanks again!
