and only offering rolls for the uncirculated finishes.

I actually like that they're not included in the proof and mint sets. However, the mint should definitely offer a P & D Innovation Dollar uncirculated set.

My local coin club is purchasing rolls of the American Innovation $1 coins (P & D) from the Mint and then selling them to club members at cost (actually a little below cost). It makes it easy for club members to build a business-strike collection of the new $1 coins very inexpensively.

That is very cool of them. I too wish the mint offered these in an uncirculated set.

After some thought I am pretty sure I will just buy the annual proof sets to build a Dansco album (assuming they make one; if not, then a generic small dollar album).

I did by the introductory reverse proof coin and will probably add a few states that appeal to me for personal reasons (either the state or the innovation represented). I will keep them in the OGP.

I did not build an uncirculated Prez set, so I doubt I will worry about the same here.

jBuck, I know you're a Dansco guy but the Littleton is also really nice for the proofs :)

Thank you for the tip, but I am no stranger to making custom Dansco albums using blank pages.
