I see tons of coin reference books on Amazon. I'm looking for an up to date one that includes Pennies, Nickels, Dimes and Quarters. With a full list of known errors and their values. And an extensive educational section. What do you all suggest?
Thanks
TT

There's always the large red books, too. I don't know how up-to-date any once-per-year printed book can be for values, though. Maybe online price guides like PCGS or NGC are better.

For what your needs are, I believe the Red Book is the way to go. If you want even more info, there's the Mega Red:

I'm doing CRH so I doubt I will get any before 1909. SO I assume the big red will be overkill.

If you're CRH you might consider the CherryPickers Guide for varieties and errors.

There is no one book that satisfies all his criteria.

You don't even need a new one. A used one, several years old would be just as good. It pretty much has the same stuff, year after year.

Good idea USSID18. The new Cherrypickers is pricy. But a 5th edition...

Older editions of the Red Book are much cheaper and just as good. Of course lots of them are good too.

You will need several to meet all your criteria. The ones referenced already above ( Red Book and Cherry Pickers Guide) will get you off and running in short order.
