A friend that knows I'm into coins gave me this today and I'm just now really looking at it. From afar it looked worn but up close it still has its sheen and also has some issues. Does anyone know what this is

Well, it's definitely a 1935 nickel, but I'm not quite sure about the lines all over the place. My instinct is PMD, but I am interested in what others have to say.

All the luster would be gone if sanded or cleaned and how does that add doubling throughout the reverse (look at the last A in America. If anything something was added to the coin

I see no doubling and no luster (shiny is not luster)
