ijn1944 Bedrock of the Community United States 19221 Posts	Posted 11/30/2019 10:20 am I've run across cents like this a number of times over the years--most have the appearance of devices (letters and numbers in particular) being somewhat flattened; made a bit soft and widened. Softened and widened is the key. In all cases that I've seen, rims have not been excessively worn. Drop it in a 2x2 as an interesting example of post-mint wear. Report this Post to the Staff
