1976-D Kennedy Half Reverse - Missing Letters Of "Independence ***

Hi guys! In my current CRH, I found a 1976D Kennedy half with a reverse lettering issue (see attached two images). Independence Hall is missing the "Hal" of "Hall". Is this a grease-filled die strike (new concept I just learned)?

Do grease-filled die strikes have any value?

I'm fairly sure this is indeed a grease strike. As for added value, I'm not an expert, but if I'm not mistaken it's more to be considered "neat" than valuable for sale. However, I have been hoping to find a Greaser from '76 that reads "200 ears of freedom". =p

In uncirculated condition it would have been worth a few dollars, but in the current condition, it's of very limited value.

An error half dollar for only 50¢ is a keeper in my book, but It's up to you. If you like it, put it in a 2x2 and save it.

Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder, and I think that error has some beauty. I would put it in a 2x2, and it would take more than a muffin and a coffee to wrest it away from me.
