Hi guys / gals

Please advise what this note is. I'm a bit confused on what this is exactly since it has the name of a specific banks name(The First National Bank of Beloit Kansas) on it.

Please let me know what the value may be.

Good link. This is one of many older forms of currency that once circulated widely in the US, in many cases well into the 1950s. Many, like yours, carried individual bank names but were backed by the US Treasury, They are still legal tender today, Yours is from a fairly common bank, but any premium would be reduced by its extensive wear.

Hey, a post that's not about a serial number for once!!

Unfortunately it's a common bank. Uncirculated examples selling for $180 to $200. In this condition, anywhere from $40 to $50. This is true national currency unlike the commonly confused Federal Reserve Bank Notes that use the same design. Here's some printing info on the bank: http://www.antiquemoney.com/nationa...beloit-3231/
