I've been looking for one of these for a while. I wish it was red. There are no examples in red graded by PCGS and only 9 graded in mint state! Mine is mid die state or later. What do you guys think!

Hello Willburton,

Maybe it is the angle of the close up but it doesn't look like FS-503 to me. Maybe a different RPM?

FS-503 is D/D/D/D according to CPG 6th Ed. Vol 1.

CROSS REF: FS-503 to RPM-003 to 1MM-003 to WRPM-003 (doubleddie.com xref to FS-501? maybe should be FS-503)

Good catch! That D/D would have been easy to miss.

Yes and the easier to see die gouge above the left stem. I guarantee you guys it is the one.

When I look for a rpm I don't look for the markers. I look at mint mark position. This particular one has an odd position. I couldn't even see the rpm in the sellers pics but I knew it was because of placement and shape of the D.

I will be darn!

I go away to clean up a little. I come back and now I see the RPM in the close up picture.
Aint that crazy how it works. I did not see it there before

My apologies... it does look like FS-503. Besides that strong south RPM are you able to see the other two?

Excellent find.

EDIT: changed FS-501 to FS-503

Yea latest its got the scratch and the dot but not exactly the same state as vv. If your looking for this one it's easy to spot because most of the mm are close to the date on the 34D's!
