Just wondering if anyone else is having issues getting the Great Collection site to load. I know my computer is old (getting replaced thanks black friday) but this two weeks in a row now I basically haven't been able to load the site on Sunday night during the actual auction ending. It keeps returning an error that the site is down.

Update: It seems to be working again but from about 8:10 to 8:40 Eastern time I couldn't get it to load

ISP Issue across the US + a possible Denial of Service attack on the site.

I am glad you got it to load.

This sort of news always makes me a little nervous, such that my computer could inadvertantly download a 'nasty' into the software.

That is why I avoid digital payments, and only use bank protected security software, that is continuously maintained on a 24/7 basis.

Two weeks in a row? We had zero issues with our site last week. Last night for a few minutes, our internet service provider had a connectivity issue. It caused our website security software to confirm all users are human, which takes about 10 seconds and ensures that there's no spiders needlessly accessing our website while auctions are ending. We pay a fortune for this software and it's the first time it was used on our production website. Out of an abundance of caution, we extended all auctions at that time by 20-25 minutes.

If you're ever having issues, please call our office at 1-800-442-6467 or shoot me an e-mail at ian@greatcollections.com. We monitor messages even when we're not at the office on Sundays.

We do not store any client payment data electronically - for your protection and ours.

My problem is that there could be a third party data miner in my software of which I am unaware, and had unknowingly loaded, despite security precautions taken.
