Known as the "Poor Man's Doubled Die Obverse", but it's actually not a Doubled Die though. Just very commonly seen Die Deterioration Doubling on the Wheat Cents. Not a DDO. Just a worn die issue. http://www.lincolncentresource.com/...bleddie.html

Given the date, at first I'd be excited too, but I agree, this is "the poor man's version" from DDD. Keep the faith and keep searching!
