But it raised of the original design surface isn't it? It appears bigger in size, wouldn't it of been just a bit raised if the contact was dug in deep enough? But it appears as if the lowest point of the spot in question is raised almost about that size. Where would the rest of the material come from?

If there's a contact mark, the metal would be displaced and make a raised area next to it.
