Hello dear Members! Again I will ask you kindly to identify this coin and if possible, evaluate an estimated price for sale. Might this be a double headed coin, with Victoria veiled head on one side of the coin and Victoria young head on the other side of this coin? But what would be the purpose of this coin? Thank you once again for your help.

@ioana, could you please also post a pic of the edge of this coin? It may be a little hard to get the focus right, but just do your best. Thx.

That is not a coin but a medal issued for the 60th anniversary of the reign of Queen Victoria. I don't know if it is silver-there were quite a few different types, and that one looks very heavily worn. In that condition it probably does not have a great value, but I will wait for more knowledgable people to express an opinion.

Yes - Victoria Diamond Jubilee medallion from 1897. Will be silver - they made them in Copper, Silver and Gold and in three sizes (yours is the smallest). The largest one in Gold is serious money!
As mentioned, this one is badly corroded. They are not scarce - I have had dozens of them through my hands at various times. In great condition they might make £10 to £15, but this one I fear is melt value only.
