Not sure if Mint Mark is unusual or not, it looks different to me. Thanks in advance for your time and consideration.

It looks like a large date=LD with a repunched mint mark=RPM. Need to see LIBERTY to tell about a possible BIE. John1

Great find! Chase called it! Not a Die Chip, but a RPM. It's a nice one.

Snoopydoo;
The term BIE only refers to die chips at the word LIBERTY.

Thank you Panther Dan for that information, I'm new to this and really appreciate the education I'm receiving here. I posted another coin the other day, a 1955-D that I saw a weird glob in Liberty and was told it was a BIE, I had to go look that term up and it just said it was from a die break, so I made the mistake of thinking all possible "globs" were BIEs, I should have done more in-depth research on the term, as I've now seen more that do specifically relate it to the word Liberty. Again, my sincerest thanks to everyone for your patience and taking the time to pass on your knowledge!

Can anyone give me an approximate value of the RPM? I'm wondering if this is the type of coin to send in for grading, I'm a collector not a seller, and I don't have any graded coins in my collection so to me I'm willing to pay to have a coin graded, even if the cost of the grading is more than it's worth. I just don't know what to send in, or if I should just keep looking for something more rare to send in. Thanks again for any feedback.
