General Off Center Coin Question

I'm taking a shot in the dark here so I may be wrong but you can buy bags of coins straight from the mint so maybe they get out that way?

I'm sure that lots of error coins come from the coin rolling services like Loomis, Brinks, Wells Fargo etc. They get coins from the mint in the HUGE Ballistic Bags as John1 pointed out. Here's an image of the bag in a steel frame "Pallet."

If not for the surcharge of $1,500 on the quarters and $11,900 on the one dollars coins, I think it would be kind of cool to go through 200,000 and 140,000 quarters and dollars respectively. I'd also like to see the look on the bank teller's face when I brought in fifty grand in quarters to deposit.

America the Beautiful Quarters

To purchase America the Beautiful ( ATB) Quarters through the Circulating Bulk Purchase Program, customers (individuals or businesses) must:

purchase the minimum of one bulk bag, which contains 200,000 coins
pay for the coins at face value ($50,000) plus a processing fee, which equals 3% percent of total order value ($1,500 per bag)
pay in full and in advance via electronic funds transfer to the United States Mint (instructions are provided after the order is entered and the inventory is confirmed)
assume all shipping costs and arrange pick up to receive coins at the dock of United States Mint facilities in Philadelphia or Denver for coins manufactured in Philadelphia or Denver, respectively

Native American and American Innovation™ Dollar Coins

To purchase Native American or American Innovation $1 Coins through the Circulating Bulk Purchase Program, customers (individuals or businesses) must:

purchase the minimum of one bulk bag, which contains 140,000 coins
pay for the coins at face value ($140,000) plus a processing fee, which equals 8.5% percent of total order value ($11,900 per bag)
pay in full and in advance via electronic funds transfer to the United States Mint (instructions are provided after the order is entered and the inventory is confirmed)
assume all shipping costs and arrange pick up to receive coins at the dock of United States Mint facilities in Philadelphia or Denver for coins manufactured in Philadelphia or Denver, respectively
