Probably only got an EF-45 from ICCS but I think it's probably closer to an AU-55

EF40 Should be 45 Too much wear for AU. It's undergraded. Otherwise you wouldn't be asking for a grade in the "you VS." format.

I'm going to stick my nose out and say AU-53.

I will jump into Coinfrog's pond. Wear on the leaves and hair around Vikkie's ear suggest AU53.

I don't get it right all of the time. Neither do the Third Party Graders.
That is why we all should learn to grade for ourselves. On reconsideration, I am still happy with AU53.

One problem with third Party graders that requires some consideration: The submitter gets a better than expected grade for the coin, = probable repeat business. The submitter gets a much lower grade than expected, = probable business for another grader.

When the graders do their thing at ICCS they have the raw coin in 'hand', makes a lot of difference grading on a computer screen and through plastic so yes, it's never going to come out right the way we do it. And, I think they missed this one.
