Due to the wear on this one I can't really tell what happened here. Could use some insight. The indention on the obverse appears to be of the fasces from the reverse design or it could be an unknown struck through debris but the location and size seems to be too coincidental. let me know what you guys think.

Wowza! That's a great strike through grease error!

Maybe I'll be the only dissenting voice, but I think that with this level of wear, it is impossible to know if that broad vertical indent is a strike through error or damage. Yes, I don't see corresponding flattening on the rev, but that is not present in all cases. There is peripheral weakness at the level of the inscriptions on both sides which may or may not be related.

Could be a strike through but even if so, with that much wear, still not worth much.

Maybe a thin tapered planchet, what is the weight? The strong struck areas are in the same location on both sides of the coin. Weight should be about 2.5 grams

I agree with Spence. Really to hard to tell due to wear. I don't think you could sell it at a premium.
