2006 p Nebraska State Quarter missing clad layer, it came out of a roll of quarters from the mint and weighs 4.7 grams, any idea on a value?

@cd708, the weight seems to be good and the color on the rev is good. Can you please also post a pic of the front of the coin? I agree with @john1 to put in a 2x2 for safe-keeping. Could be a very nice find!

Those really are nice errors, and not sure why this post hasn't generated a ton of feedback. When the State Quarters came out these clad errors where highly sought after with some people looking to put together the whole set of them. Prices were very high at the time. I haven't really followed them since, but I bet they're quite scarce for sale since most would be in those collections now. It's a very nice error coin and one to keep safe.

I'm pleased. I opened this thread expecting to see just another environmentally damaged quarter. Instead we have a winner and a a coin that actually is what it was described as.
