Rob45 New Member United States 8 Posts	Posted 12/08/2019 09:45 am Hello, Coin Community, I'm Robert from SouthEast Michigan, October 05, 2019 the 2005 and 2006 Jefferson nickel caught my attention while paying my bill, got me thinking of my coin collection. Had not worked on it for over 40 years. Started my collection in 1956 did it for about 2 years. Sold it to my Dad in 1959 for maybe $25 so I could buy Gym Shorts and Gym shoes when starting junior high. My Dad added Proof Sets and other coins. I purchased it back from my Dad in 1972 for about $800. Added coins, proof coins and proof sets until about 1976. Did not work on it after that. All along I thought I should order the proof sets direct from the US Mint. However I never did. I have now added proof sets and have all from 1952-2019 and P&D Mint Sets 1968-2019. When I started my favorite was the Mercury dimes, since 1972 I favored the proof sets, I like the look of them. Edited by Rob45 12/08/2019 6:12 pm Report this Post to the Staff
