Looks like another ear is over his temple, same offset as "God We" above it.

Just looks like damage to me. If it were struck twice, the LIBERTY would be all over that area on the head/fields area. The entire reverse would also be affected the same. Didn't happen. Just damage.

What about the ghost inverted "GO" of God between the "CE" of cent? The WE Is offset up and right, can see another ear same distance up and right. Can also see faint 8 in front of his mouth.

In order for these to be from the same dies, the affected devices would be the same size as the die letters from the normal strike. Also on the GO you are seeing it looks incuse. If it we struck with a die, it would be raised and not incuse. Also where are the other devices and the design? None are present. I see a lot of contact marks on the coin. So I doubt that it was double struck.

The 8 is raised and his hair/head is the dark brown above "cent". How could the GO get there without damaging "E". Unless was already, somehow, stamped with inverted GOD, then "CENT" over that. Right? Not to be belligerent, I'm not an expert, but, genuinely, how did it happen?

The line through the rim, over "Trust" tells me the coin was altered. That mark on the rim area, shows it was added to the coin after it was struck from another coin. The die doesn't have a rim on it. The rim is formed in the collar and die together.

Wish I could send a large pic to show what I see. Very clear GO with his hair curls below.

It is still a legal coin, just altered from what it was when it was struck.
