HI Guys, From all the links that I other members have forwarded to me and what I have read in the forums, I have been trying to learn the difference between doubled dies, Strike Doubling and other various types of errors and non errors. That being said, I am have the most difficulty in identifying errors when it comes to older coins. I have posted a picture of a 1970 S penny and was wondering if someone can tell me what this would be considered. This will help me a lot when identifying other pennies I have. I have several 1970 - 1973 s pennies similar to what I have posted. Granted they are not in the greatest shape but for me it is about learning not making money.. It is not the greatest picture as I have yet to buy a usb microscope. Thanks to all

You can see the thread titles and enjoy them. If you loose this link, just type in CoopHome and it will automatically take you there. there are three pages. Page two I tried to update the ones from page one. So you might try page two first. There are thousands of images on these threads. It will help show you to see what I see on coins. That is the best way for me to teach others. Machine Doubling is the first and often the hardest thing to figure out on coins. But check it out and feel free to ask questions. We have a bunch of good eggs here to help:
