the 83-O is known for Average to Softer strike. this one is AVG+ and a nice strike. there are no scratches on the coin that would drop this coin a full grade. everything appears to be just contact marks. MS64 nice lustrous NO minted coin.

MS63 with a shot at MS64. It's the earlier date state of VAM-54 if you catalog by die pairing ( VAM).

Some things I don't like about it, but I'm thinking 63 at best.

I am just learning here but what looks to be a nick on the Obverse rim at the "M" in Unum. Is that a nick and would that impact grade? or is that not considered to be important and the field and devices are the key? beautiful coin and I will say 64

Quote: Is that a nick and would that impact grade? no impact. its not significant enough and is not in a key area for grading

MS-63+, just a bit to much chatter for a 64.

They nailed it, an average looking 63.
