I had a bit more time to play with photoshop and decided to make a cust year set for dollar coins as well.

Here are the images:

It does take a bit of time as I have to whack in the dimension of the coins, specific location of the coins and text where I want to be against the background. Nevertheless, I like it.

Very impressive. I assume you are using a combination pf photoshop and jpegs of your coins? I'd love to do one with mintmarks and errors.

It would be a brilliant on-line resource.

Hello Yass, yes, that's what I did, using photoshop and my photographed coins. I'm sure I can do it for yours too Yass except it might take a bit of time. Do let me know if you have them ready and I'll try.

Hm, reckon this can be a service that I can offer on ebay or somewhere else. Will try it one day.

I'm still in the process of cataloguing my coins. The first step is to simply identify them and determine what's in each box. The next step is to combine coins from different boxes/sites thereby have like with like. The final step is to photograph the various types and errors.

Given that I have over 30,000 coins, it might be some time before I'm anywhere near being ready. More likely, it will be a job going into a long retirement

Thanks for the offer though.

One thing that I will be doing sooner rather than later is to create a Dansco Supreme album of proof and silver Australian $1s. I don't have the gold ones, but I have all the others including varities.

Whil on the subject of your album, I note that if you click on it it will throw up a larger picture. Can you take that one step further and click on the actual coin to show a close-up picture of (say) the reverse and or obverse?

Muckeye, it's a typo for custom, left out om for some reason.

Yass, I presume you are looking for something like this?

I did a quick example for the first three dollar coins. I made it in a way so that it links to another page so it's possible to put a larger picture of both the obverse and reverse.
