1966 Penny Missing "1"

This is a penny I found today. Looking at it under a magnifying glass and tilting it there is a thin silver line outlining Lincoln and "Liberty". The second "6" appears smaller. There's nothing on the Internet about it so I thought I'd post here for opinions.

Mechanical Doubling is the culprit in making the second 6 smaller or thinner... I learned this information from CCF.... You will learn a lot about the coin hobby from the experts at CCF... enjoy

P.S.
The missing 1 was caused by a strike through "something" --- you got a circulated coin and the possibilities of what struck your coin is nil to knowing...

Over polishing can alter the shape on the '1'. That is area is part of the clash zone and when heavy polishing happens, then it weakens the digit:

But most of the time a partial Grease Fill will look wider, shorter in height or altered slightly sometimes at an angle:
