But the over all size of the devices are normal. Keep in mind the hub doubling enlarges the devices or creates a rise on the area of the fields. I'm not seeing that on this coin. Note the date areas and how they are affected? Quite a number of DDO's for this year have a small bar above the 7 and yours might. (a reduction of the normal device caused by the machine after the strike) Not hub doubling. Hub doubling enlarges the devices, on the die, not alteration after the strike. But the areas you are looking at are flat, shelf like, and the contour is missing, then it would be Machine Doubling. But a lot better image might show me more. (The light on is the reason I no longer dress in a dark closet. Cause you never know what you will look like until you come out into the light. LOL) Report this Post to the Staff
