This coin is of no value beyond a penny. It was solid black on both sides but I noticed some bumps, so I cleaned it up out of curiosity. In some spots it looks like a layer came off, made me wonder if some type of acid spilled on it while in circulation? But then I noticed a lot of raised solid bumps on both sides in the field. This is just a case of I'm curious what caused this kind of damage, and looking for your thoughts, thanks.
Don't know why the images showed up with blue tint, maybe the angle I held my iPad taking pictures of the microscope screen that also has a table top light behind it. Or maybe too many whiskey on the rocks
