Exciting find! Again I know nothing about errors, this could be another plating bubble for all I know. Is this a good find? It is not a gouge, this line sticks up. Upon viewing it seems like it was there before they printed the date, but then again it goes through Lincoln as well.

What do you all think?

Hi Hokuto,

I think this is most likely a linear plating bubble. If you are able to very gently use a toothpick to see if the ridge can be depressed, that should confirm or upend that suspicion.

@hokuto, since it is only a cent, consider keeping this one as it is a very good example of a linear plating bubble--normally they aren't this bold nor this long.
