Massachusetts State Coin Minting Error

I heard about a supposed error on the Massachusetts State Coin from 2000. Apparently a minting error had the Minuteman stamped in the same orientation as Washington. So, if you flipped the coin from Washington's head down, the Minuteman was upside down.
Does anyone know if this is true?

Sounds a little like a rotate die error from what I understand. It is certainly possible, as many of the State Quarters had a lot of errors.

It is possible to have a rotated die on a coin. The easiest way to show these with images is with a mirror:
