Okay, so I snagged an album 1 last night, minus the 1909 s vdb and 1909s, rest are there...it seemed like a solid deal to begin with...then I asked for better pictures of some of the dates...which they grouped the coins together and werent the best. What yall think of this?...was in the 22d slot...may be my second 22 no d strong reverse scored in 2 weeks?

Yeah, all I can really tell was that the weakness is in all the right spots on the obverse.
I do know is the 14d will fill out my wheat set (and if so I'd call it a bonus) so I can focus on my large cent set lol.

@KYCC, can you please provide better pics? A couple suggestions would be to take the pic straight on rather than at an angle and to have more light. Or if this is the seller's pics, could you follow-up with your own pics once you have the coin in hand? Thx.

Much sharper pics of both sides needed, taken straight-on.

Very hard to tell from your photos. It looks like there may be a partial mint mark but can't really tell from the angle of your photos.

Can't tell much from the pictures but the D looks to be there. I would be surprised if it were DP 1, 3, or 4 since those are actually quite scarce.

If that's the best the seller can do, then I'd walk straight away from this one.

It wasnt priced as a no d Coinfrog, the pics werent bad, just a bad angle on that one. Just asked for a closer photo of multiple coins and saw the weakness in the die pair 2 locations. I honestly wanted the album for a few other coins in there, so of it happens to be one then it is just a bonus. That and this merchant isn't a coin dealer, but sells a ton of items. I assume this came from an estate auction or similar.

Can't tell much, it could be a DP1.
What's more troubling in that picture is the 1931-S, pretty sure it's a fake.

Your call, KY. I see other possible issues with this coin, including ED.

Okay, just opened the mail, looks like a die pair 4, coat connects to rim blah blah. Weak reverse works for me. I'll post pics when I get it under the scope at home.
