I see some scratches/marks on the nose, mouth, and neck, but otherwise it looks pristine. can't tell if this is one of those low MS impaired luster specimens, or if the lighting is just not doing it justice. interesting die cracks.

All I see for a mint mark is a face with 2 eyes , one ear , a nose and a cigar hanging out of it's mouth .
Some kind of reverse doubling going on or just shadows from light source .

Something's funny with the mintmark. I agree, cleaned. Can't give it MS.

so what's the "tell" on cleaning here. I don't see any hairlines, so are you basing this just on muted luster?

Photos a bit grainy, and lighting is over powering the detail.

Not sure I can tell about cleaning, looks more like a San Francisco Mint.

Edit: I just noticed I have 4,000 posts after replying this post.
