Hey, so I'm gonna be focusing on pennies a while. What's the best penny folders in which I can see both the obverse and reverse while also protecting my coins?

Any coin rolling essential? What kind of tray? Do I need one?

I'm gonna buy a new table that's not that big (don't have room for one) and buy a cloth to cover it for coin rolling.

What about organizing and protecting coins that I don't plan on putting in a folder at the moment?

Also I prefer eco-friendly supplies if any exist.

What else do you suggest?

2x2s with pliers to flatten the staples gets my vote.

No folder but an album is what you are talking about. A jeweler's loupe,10x and 14x triplet is better than doublet. A good light source.

I suggest you don't get so carried away with STUFF. Instead just get a Red Book by Whitman Publishing and get to know what is what. Take your time and look through coins for ones you want or need. Don't worry about things that might or might mot be needed right now. Start enjoying this hobby as it is.

Thanks for the help!

Spence, I was gonna look more into those, I think I'll get them.

John, I bought an LED magnifying set recently that I've used. They're good.

T-BOP, thanks! Do you prefer the smaller or bigger ones?

carl, I bought the 2020 spiral edition of the Red Book. It's good, but I want to know more varieties. I'm getting a lot of my info online. I want the CherryPickers' Guide, but they're expensive. Online is fine and always updating.

jbuck, why do prefer Dansco albums?

Also, as far as albums are concerned I forgot to ask, are there any albums in which they have ALL years in one?

I love the Dansco albums because I have used then for 35 years now and have had no complaints.

They do seem to be difficult to find. Dansco recently moved their headquarters, so hopefully production will ramp back up soon.
