I understand that Singapore has changed its currency over the years, but basically its still the same, ie dollars and cents, but is all their old money still legal tender?

I would suggest that you go to the website of the Singapore Central Bank (or the equivalent) and see what they say about the legal tender status of their money.

Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) is Singapore's central bank and financial regulatory authority.

MAS is the final word on the subject of your question.

MAS took over the currency issuance function following the merger with the Board of Commissioners of Currency, Singapore (BCCS) in October 2002.

All notes and coins issued since 1967 by MAS and the former BCCS are legal tender in Singapore, and are fully backed by MAS' assets.

FUN FACT: Since Singapore's independence in 1967, four series of currency notes and three series of coins have been issued for general circulation.

MAS works closely with the banks, security couriers and appointed contractors to ensure efficient and effective distribution of the Singapore currency as well as the availability of the currency to meet public demand.

MAS administers the Currency Act (Cap. 69) (CA) , which provides for the legal tender status of the notes and coins issued by MAS in Singapore.

The CA also contains provisions relating to Singapore currency matters such as mutilation of Singapore notes and coins, reproduction of images of Singapore currency and forfeiture of counterfeit currency notes and coins.
