I have a 1983 Lincoln Cent with the 3 extended would this be an
Error coin or new variety I can't find it anywhere
can anyone advice

Note how the '8' was also hit at that time. Not a keeper. A damaged coin.

Thank you all for your support and opinions that matters to me. When I looked at the coin it seemed like that extended peace was attached to the 3 as you can see in close up photos at the same time it looked like damage that's why I thought it was an error and I wanted to get someone's opinion
