1935 Buffalo Nickel Strange Toning

I'm sorry if I am posting this on the wrong forum. I have this 1935 Buffalo nickel that has this dark red/brown toning. If this is normal, I am sorry, it stuck out to me because it's the first buffalo I found with this type of toning.

Also, is that second eye on the buffalo just coincidental damage? It seems to have a pupil

I've seen this kind of environmental damage many times on Buffalo and Liberty V-Nickels . I guess it's the composition of .750 copper and .250 nickel. As soon as a bad environment gets to them they get ugly .
