It's a copper-nickel alloy issue with little premium and not in much demand from collectors, not surprising given a typical blah design. Just more junk from the US Mint.

It is a coin of the Marshall Islands, and not made of silver. Sorry

They are minted to sell to unsuspecting people by ads in magazines and newspapers. Most of the issues and there are at least one a year are not even usable on the Marshall Island. Space ,WWII, any U.S conflict are favorite subject matter. They usually end up in the local coin shop bargain bin for $1.00 or less. As been said cupro nickel is the metal that is used.

The coinage of the Marshal Islands are not made at the US mint. They are coined at various non-governmental facilities like Medallic Art Co., Roger Williams Mint and the Sunshine Mint. They are not coins but more like cheap tokens.
