like part of the serial number and the seal is imprinted on the back of the bill. Is this common?

It could be embossing from the printing process, an ink transfer from another note or an offset ink transfer from a printing roller.

Pictures might help identify it.

If it is reading in reverse on the back, it is most likely
Ink offset but pictures are a must to help identify.

after looking up the word "embossing" that exactly what it is...I was thinking of a whole different word lol

my phone doesn't really have a good usb cable so I'm having some trouble getting the pictures on.
