New to this so please bare with me.Found this looking through my girlfriends penny jar and was hoping maybe someone here could tell me what the history might be about this coin. Cant seem to find anything like it. Any help would be appreciated. Working on better pics.

Sort of neat.
Washington crossing the Delaware.
Famous painting.
There may be someone who'll want it but it's a damaged coin.
At least it will spend for 1¢.

Known as a "counterstamped" coin. As pointed out there are many who collect these, but to the purist, it's not mint damage. I have seem many of these over the years, but never one like this! Cool find!
