That is extreme Die Deterioration. Really severe I might add. Not really any extra value to a collector but might be for you to hang onto for reference in the future.

As the dies are used to strike coins they wear out. The details can get enlarged and distorted. Deep lines (flow lines) can appear, usually orientated from the center towards the rim, which yours has.
Words of encouragement are one of the major food groups.
We need to consume them regularly to thrive and grow.

and ...that coin is just sick, never had I seen one soooo bad...Please in the future, rotate your photos for proper viewing....good luck on future finds

you should know that according to wechsler list all 1982 D quarters are doubled die because it was the master hub
