All I can see is a very beat up well circulated nickel, I agree on the Pareidolia.

You're not trippin Djrob. Even though your pictures do kinda resemble mashed potatoes. It was obvious in your initial photo. I really do not understand why none of these folks can see what you're talking about or they just don't how how to help someone instead of frustrate them. I don't really use social media because of this. I'll get mad and stop being nice. You've done well so far I can't make out what the lettering says on the top of the head though.

I'll just guess and say all you have is your phone to take pictures? Do. Try getting as close as you can until your screen gets a little blurry, then pull back slowly until is perfectly clear and take that shot. Most phones seem to have a certain proximity before you get "mashed potatoes" again. Go to edit photo and zoom in there (crop). Mine seem to come out better when I do it that way.

I think the pictures are clear enough to see the coin's details, but unfortunately I agree this is simply a well circulated nickel, Pareidolia. Keep hunting though!

I don't see it. I also believe Pareidolia is taking effect. Keep hunting!

You are trying to make something out of nothing, sorry.

Wow. You're absolutely wrong. Yes you guy who's been on here forever. You also make it very difficult to be nice to you when there's obviously something there. Just because you can't tell heads from tails as far as what's on this coin doesn't mean there's nothing there. Don't hide ignorance behind false pride. It's ugly.

I agree with Pareidolia, not a mint error or anything significant. MonopolyMoney, I'm sorry some members are coming off as offensive to you, but you may want to consider what they have to say as most of them have been doing this for quite a while.

Anytime. People probably look up to you on here. I don't care for you personally but the amount of posts you have shared says you have experience. Your opinion should be valued and well thought instead of making someone else feel dumb or frustrated because you have no idea what you're actually looking at. If you tell someone their just making things up in their head when it's clearly something else you could very well just ruin any experience they have on this site. Especially someone who just created an account. I'm not trying to be a jerk or make problems with anyone because I just got on here myself but, I also won't let whatever all that was be considered an answer either.
You're welcome for yet another thoughtful answer

Just because someone has been doing something for a long time doesn't always mean they're good at it. Not saying the frog guy isn't because he probably is. Just not helpful

I think everyone one here is just trying to be helpful. We're not going to say there's something on this coin that isn't there, and its a common thing that can happen with newer collectors, so we are just trying to point people in the right direction.

Being a new collector has nothing to do with you guys being condescending to further inflate your online egos. It's actually quite pathetic and you should be ashamed of yourselves. The more you defend this sad adolescence the more others reading this will begin notice how vague and simple you and your buddy really are. That is when you're not being pretentious because so far I have yet to see sign of any intellect within the previous responses by either one of you. Have you ever met a kid who was held back in school and thought hmmm? He must be a good third grader because he's been here a while! Didn't think so! Of course some things had to stick so I'll give you enough credit to say you're not completely dim but come on man. Pareidolia? Seriously? That's just lazy if your not blind. I'm done here. Say whatever empty response makes you feel like you still have your nuts.

I believe everybody's being very polite on here. We're giving our OPINIONS on the coin. The OP can feel free to send the coin to a grader and see what the experts have to say about it in hand. Like I said, we are trying to help other members out and create a friendly and respectful community on here.

No worries. I understand it can look that way at first on here, but most of the longtime members, like CoinFrog, are extremely knowledgeable on things like this and a generally the best at determining what's going on with these coins.
